End-to-End Financial Management & Compliance – Expertise in statutory reporting, external audits, regulatory compliance, and producing AASB-compliant financial statements, ensuring councils meet legislative and stakeholder accountability requirements. 

Strategic Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis – Development of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and scenario modelling, supported by detailed variance analysis, costings, and performance dashboards to inform decision-making. 

Asset, Rates & Revenue Expertise – Skilled in asset valuation, depreciation, and revaluations; rates modelling and strategy; and integrating valuation data into financial reporting and audits. 

Grant, Procurement & Contract Financial Oversight – Management of grant funding compliance and reporting, contract financial performance monitoring, procurement risk management, and payment process controls. 

Systems Implementation & Process Optimisation – Proven experience implementing and optimising finance systems (e.g. TechnologyOne, Civica) and conducting process mapping to improve efficiency and transparency.
