30 Years Strong, Focused on the Future
As CT Management Group celebrates 30 years of supporting Local Government, State Government agencies and the not-for-profit sector, we are proud to reflect on the trusted partnerships, practical solutions and sector expertise that have shaped our journey.
Over three decades, our business has continued to evolve alongside our clients responding to changing priorities, emerging risks and the increasing complexity of operating environments. Today, that focus is more important than ever.
Across the sector, organisations are making critical decisions around financial sustainability, service delivery and long-term planning, as rising operating costs and ongoing global uncertainty place increasing pressure on budgets and resources.
Navigating Cost Pressures and Fuel Volatility
One of the most immediate challenges currently impacting organisations is the rising cost of fuel and fleet operations, driven in part by ongoing global instability and market volatility.
To support our clients, CT Management Group recently hosted a national webinar in partnership with our strategic alliance partner Uniqco, attracting more than 100 registrations from across the sector.
The session focused on practical strategies to help organisations move beyond reactive cost control and toward more proactive risk management including immediate actions and short-term strategies to reduce cost exposure across service delivery, contractors and capital works programs.
We thank all participants who joined the session and encourage any clients seeking further guidance to contact our team at [email protected].
Introducing CT Management Group Academy
We are also pleased to announce the launch of the CT Management Group Academy this month – a new professional learning initiative designed to deliver practical training, webinars and capability-building programs for the sector.
The Academy will initially focus on the NSW Local Government market, with further expansion planned over time.
Our first program, Contract Law for Non-Lawyers, will be delivered by Scott Alden, Strategic Alliance Partner at Mills Oakley, through a practical two-part course designed to help professionals better understand contract risk, procurement obligations and governance responsibilities.
We look forward to sharing more details with clients in the coming weeks.
Financial Sustainability & Planning
Financial sustainability continues to be one of the most significant strategic priorities facing councils across Australia.
With cost escalation, infrastructure demands, workforce pressures and growing community expectations, councils are increasingly required to make informed long-term decisions that balance service delivery with responsible financial stewardship.
At CT Management Group, we continue to support councils through specialist advisory services, strategic planning and practical tools that help organisations plan with confidence.
This includes support across:
- Long Term Financial Planning
- Scenario modelling and forecasting
- Capital works prioritisation
- Financial benchmarking
- Sustainability strategies
- Asset and service planning integration
Our focus is to help councils make evidence-based decisions today that create stronger, more sustainable outcomes for the future.
Specialist Placements & Workforce Support
We also continue to support councils through our national Associate Placements business, connecting organisations with experienced professionals who can step in quickly and add value where capability is needed most.
Whether the requirement is for interim executive leadership, project delivery, asset management, finance or specialist advisory expertise, our Associate network enables councils to access trusted support when and where it is required.
Products Supporting Better Decision-Making
Our product suite continues to grow in adoption nationally, with solutions such as our Long-Term Financial Plan and Capital Works Evaluator now supporting more than 40 councils across Australia.
We are also pleased to welcome our newest clients, including Tiwi Islands Regional Council and Darwin City Council in the Northern Territory.

These products are designed to operate across jurisdictions, align with relevant regulatory frameworks, and support councils in delivering stronger financial sustainability outcomes.
Looking Ahead
We recognise the challenges many of our clients are navigating in the current environment. Our commitment remains clear – to work alongside organisations with practical advice, trusted capability and solutions that create real value.
As we celebrate our 30-year milestone, we thank our clients, partners and Associates for their continued trust and support.
