Knowing Who's Supporting You
Over the past few months, I’ve spent a significant amount of time on the road, and it remains one of the parts of my role I enjoy most. There’s nothing quite like meeting our clients face-to-face, hearing what’s happening on the ground, and being a trusted sounding board as we celebrate the solutions CT has helped deliver and work through new challenges together. Genuine, enduring partnerships make all the difference, especially when navigating sector pressures, resource constraints, shifting priorities, and the constant pace of change across local government.
When it comes to interim placements and workforce support, CT Management Group’s Associate model stands apart. You can expect immediate, unquestioned value whenever you engage one of our Associates. Rather than a transactional, volume-based recruitment approach, we maintain a capped network of carefully selected, sector-seasoned professionals who work alongside each client to unpack and define what success looks like for every engagement. We hold our Associates to exceptionally high standards, expecting them to bring fresh, diverse perspectives and adaptable, practical solutions backed by trusted, proven experience. They are inclusive, highly capable professionals who deliver meaningful support from day one.
Some recent placement and workforce solution highlights include: mentoring and coaching Directors of Infrastructure, Finance Managers, and Procurement Coordinators, building confidence in emerging leaders; supporting full-scale disaster recovery efforts with rapid, coordinated responses; stepping into interim Manager and Director roles at short notice, earning exceptional feedback from teams and peers for seamless leadership; delivering specialised, hard-to-access waste expertise that councils would otherwise have lacked, including saving a not-for-profit client thousands of dollars through effective contract review and procurement; and assisting councils to review, select, implement, and successfully embed asset management systems, ensuring long-term efficiency and sustainability.
As we head into the second half of the financial year, now is the ideal time to plan for upcoming leave, mentoring needs, or senior project support. And if you’re unsure whether we can assist, please just contact us, exploring potential options together is never wasted time!
Wishing you and your teams a safe and happy holiday season and a fantastic start to 2026.
